The Capital Investment Goal:  

The goal at this time is to be able to have one person who knows what to do and how to do it  (Rev. Cote') devote full time and full attention to this project.    The goal is for Rev. Cote' to move this proposal  into action in a way that draws attention to the criticalness of this new way of viewing the world we live in.   Once the value of this approach to reversing Global Warming is recognized, it will grow rapidly and exponentially.   Many will join us and many others will do as we are now doing and proposing. 

 

Symbolically speaking, "if you had to put all your eggs in one basket," The New Corporate World would be that basket.    As it turns out,  The New Corporate World is not a single basket.   It is, instead, several hundred or several thousand baskets each with its own unique perspective and tools to apply its own special piece to the group solutions to our collective problems.

The entire, present-day, (2007) United States monetary system is based on several dysfunctional fairytales.   (See the four web pages listed below.)  Policies and practice of the present U.S. economy are based on Debt Creation and Making Money Off Debtors.   Making money off the backs of others has replaced the production of goods and services as the top priority.    In the U.S. economy, money and making a profit are the only things that matter.   In the financial world, the wheelers and dealers have set themselves up to take a piece of almost every transaction.   

The super wealthy are not the only problem today.    When the original financial moguls got enough money to hire others to run their financial businesses, the cleverest and the brightest employees, soon quit and went into business for themselves.  Then the new money magnets hired their own employees and the process spiraled to another level.   This cycle has continued for decades, until today the process has spun completely out of control.   Everybody wants a piece of the action.    Everybody wants a free ride, and with so many people in the cart, there's almost no one left to pull the wagon.

 

 

In the financial world, the wheelers and dealers have set themselves up to get a piece of the action.

"To fight something is to feed it."   "What you think about is what you are inviting into your reality."  The universe functions on thoughts and one cannot express the opposite of a thought.   One of the best examples is about the roadside sings that used to say,  Don't drink and drive."  The subconscious mind can register drive sober or drive drunk, but the expression "Don't drink and drive,"  registers as "Drink and drive."   Here's another classic line:   "Don't think of a pink elephant."

Ans:    There is another critically  important reason for having corporations and their non-profit Foundations working as as team. 

Que:    And that is . . .   

Ans:    With a corporation ( as most of them are presently structured)  there is no guiding entity.   There is no outside overseers.   Stockholders are the closest thing to an overseer and they are only interested  in money.   Corporate executives run the companies for the stockholders.   So other than money-interests and to avoid violating the letter of the law,  there are no controls over what corporate leaders can do.   

Human nature is such that very few people are able to handle positions of great power without getting lost in the power they wield.   As a result, all too frequently, corporate executives are engaged in unethical and unscrupulous activities with the sole intent of increasing company profits and/or ripping off as much money as they can before getting fired.  

Que:    That reminds me of the famous quote form Lord Acton, "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely."  ***    

Ans:    The evidence tells us that this is also true in the corporate world.  Most if not all of the major corporate mismanagement financial  fiascoes that have cost society dearly would not occur if the corporate leaders functioned in partnership with a non-profit foundation.   

Que:    That sounds like parental guidance.     

Ans:    Now that you mention it, the parent analogy works well here.   One could think of the relationship as one of guidance and co-creation but not domination.    Perhaps as a parent might guide a seventeen year old son or daughter.  

Que:    So under the structure of The New Corporate World,  the corporate leaders will become the good guys instead of the villains whose only interest is money.   

Ans:    There really aren't any bad guys, '  but for the moment, we'll let your metaphor stand.   Think of it this way:  While functioning in partnership with a  Foundation,  corporate executives would not be allowed to steal the money out of the employees pension funds.  Corporate executives could not get away with paying themselves multi-millions of dollars while the company crashes.   Scandals like the multi-billion dollar Enron fiasco could not happen.

Que:    Ok, I'm still with you.   Please continue.  

Ans:    Here are steps four, five, and six:  

 

 

 

Que:    Are you saying you can change the world with a simple idea?

Ans:    Yes, its been done hundreds of times in the past.   Ideas are the catalysts for a changes in consciousness.   So it's not the idea, itself  that will change the world, it's its application.  

Que:    So you're saying that you have an idea that when applied to corporations will significantly change the world.

Ans:    Yes. Definitely!   

Que:    I'm all ears.  Let's hear it.

Ans:    It's now possible, with relative ease and simplicity for corporations to set up their own non-profit foundations and then transfer ownership of most of the company's stock to that foundation.   

Que:    That's where we started this conversation.   Like I already said, it's a great idea, but it sounds to me like a pipe dream.   Level with me now.   Are you stoned?  Are you crazy?   Or am I missing something?   

Ans:    I'm neither stoned nor crazy, and yes, you are missing something.

Que:    How can that be?  

Ans:    Are you aware that for centuries  most of the world's inventions and new ideas have come out of the lunatic fringe?

Que:    No.  Inform me.

Ans:    Almost every major change on the planet  has come by way of a person who was, at one point in his or her creative process,  considered by most of his/her fellow humans as an eccentric, a fool, a lunatic, or a trouble maker.   Look at the extreme opposite of what is labeled conservative.   If you look closely into what is commonly called  The Lunatic Fringe, you'll find the future of humanity!

Que:    Give me some examples.

Ans:    Albert Einstein.   He was thrown out of grade school as hopelessly un-teachable.   Louis Pasteur.   He was drummed out of his medical college for proposing that life forms too small for the human eye to see were the cause of disease.   Galileo.  He  was imprisoned for life for publicly demonstrating  that the Earth was round.   And then there’s the most famous rebel of all time, Jesus of Nazareth.

Each of these people made major contributions to the future of humanity; yet, when they expressed their mastery into the world, they were looked at as troublemakers, as lunatics, or as fools.   ***   

Que:    So you are a lunatic?   

Ans:    In an insane society, a sane person is considered to be crazy.   I'll let you draw your own conclusions regarding on which side the insanity lies.

Que:     Ok, pipe dreamer, how are you proposing that this be accomplished?

Ans:    Well, to begin with, I invite you to open your mind and reserve your labels for me and for The New Corporate World Project  until you've examined the evidence.  

Que:    Sorry.   

Ans:    You needn't be sorry.   Your response is typical when an out-of the-park idea is first presented.   

Que:    How so?

Ans:    They typical scenario goes like this:   At first, the visionary and his/her idea is  ignored.  Then the person and the new whatever is ridiculed and laughed at.  When the new creation begins to  become a physical reality, the status quo becomes threatened  and often attack the idea and/or its presenter.  If the newly created  __whatever__  requires an new thinking paradigm many people will simply reject it without giving it a fair hearing.   Finally it's accepted and the response is:  "Oh, we've known that all along."

For most people, the first response to this concept is:  "It's impossible to accomplish.   It's too simplistic to make any difference.   It must be a utopian fairytale.   And besides, who cares?   I'm busy with my own life."   

Think Again.   It's Possible!  It will have a huge impact on both you business and your personal  life ' and on  all human life including  The Reversing of Global Warming.   It's so unusual that it's in a class of its own.   Occasionally something comes along that is  so far outside mainstream thinking that most people won't see it's value until others show them the way.   So it is with the arrival  of

Que:    You talk about creating The New Corporate World.   What is it?   

Ans:    With relative ease and simplicity, it's now possible to transfer stock ownership of almost any corporation to  a non-profit Foundation so that each corporation is under the control and watchful eye of an independent-thinking, environmentally-friendly, employee-friendly, and customer-friendly, non-profit Foundation.   Corporations that choose to make this change will no longer dominated by money, greed, fear, and misdirected power.

Ans:    Here's still another bonus.   Under the present structure, corporations have no external guides or controls.   In The New Corporate World,  structure the Foundation acts as a second set of eyes.     When a corporations Foundation,  in in the picture corporate executives would never be allowed to steal the money out of the employees pension funds.  Corporate executives could never get away with paying themselves multi-millions of dollars while the company crashes.   Scandals like the multi-billion dollar Enron fiasco could never happen.

 

nswer these questions both as a private individual and as if you were speaking for the overall human collective.

    Where are you right now?   

Is that where you want to be?   

If not, where would you like to be?   

   Where is your present path taking you?   

Is that where you want to go?   

   Where do you want to go

How do you get there from here?

Q.    Answering those questions seems like a small price to pay.   

A.   It is.   

 

 

Have you noticed the strong movement in America to a two-class society --  The  wealth and the poor with fewer and fewer in the middle class.   What you may not have noticed is that the tools for controlling others has shifted from building walls and fences to building belief boxes which are prisons only because the prisoner believes something that is not true.  

But that's another story for another time, so let me get back to the benefits of creating the New Corporate World.   

 

 

 

 

 

 

There are an estimated 10,000 billion tons of methane that have remained frozen for thousands of years under the Arctic and Siberian tundra.    Methane is over twenty times more destructive to the environment than carbon dioxide.   If the polar ice cap melts, that 10,000 billion tons of methane will be released into the atmosphere.   

If that happens, the Earth's temperature will rise by about eighteen degrees Fahrenheit.  The environment will be so drastically altered that all large life forms on the entire planet will die, including you, your family, and every other human being.  

Because humans have caused the Earth's temperature to rise,  the ground in northern Russia and northern North America now thaws more than it has for thousands of years.   This temperature rise has turned on nature's doomsday machine  --  the releasing into the atmosphere that 10,000 billion tons of methane.   Unless we turn it back off, we are in big trouble.   Here's what's happening: 

Each successive  temperature rise results in the release a larger portion of that frozen methane.  With more of this environmentally destructive gas in the Earth's atmosphere,  the next season is, again,  warmer than the prior season.    The temperature rise, in turn, melts more ice causing the release of still  larger amounts of methane. 

This cycle has already taken on a life of its own.  It has become self-expanding, and if allowed to continue, it will, in only a few short years, spin out of control.   If we do not stop it NOW, it will accelerate to the point where it will be unstoppable, and human extinction will  move from a fantasy of the foolish (and the paranoid) to the inevitable consequences of ignorance and apathy.   

Know the truth and it will set you free.   

Ignore this truth and it will kill you!
