In case you hadn't noticed,   we (the collective we) are riding on the cosmic version of the Titanic.   We are traveling full speed ahead, in the dark, toward a cosmic iceberg.   I invite you to step out of your very comfortable and successful life and take a reality check.    If  you stay in your cozy cabin and continue with business as usual, you will be a member of  the second-to-last, human generation.  

Why?   Because  we have turned on Natures Doomsday Machine. ²    Unless you take some time to help us turn the doomsday machine back off, your success will be the last hurrah as the ship sinks into devastating, deadly, and irreversible consequences!       

Here's the "do-nothing,"   "business-as-usual"  future:   10,000 billion tons of methane are presently frozen in the Arctic Circle.   Human caused Global Warming is already started  the release of this methane into the atmosphere.  If not stopped, the release will soon become un-stoppable.   Its full release will cause the  Earth's temperature will rise by about eighteen degrees Fahrenheit.   As a  result, thousands of life forms will  become extinct.  The ocean level will rise by about forty feet, forcing billions of people out of their homes.    Glaciers and  mountain snow caps will melt, leaving over thirty percent of the world’s population without fresh water in the dry season.   Billions of people will die of environmental exposure and/ or starvation.   Most large life forms on the entire planet will become extinct.
