Someone in a position of authority has to be the first to speak up and openly challenge the financial insanity coming out of the Whitehouse. Please answer the questions below, but don’t tell me your answers. Go home and tell your answers to your children and grandchildren:

Why Are You Ignoring the Truth?

In this time of deep economic misery, everybody is talking about the problem and asking, "How can we treat the symptoms?" But nobody is publicly asking, "What is the cause? How do we remove the cause?" Edward R. Murrow,² where are you?

There are two main causes. The most obvious is The George Bush Deficit Financing. It's called inflation.² It steals the value out of our money and causes prices to rise. The second is the financial wheelers and dealers peddling shady, high-risk loans. They charge exorbitant rates of interest on loans of make-believe money.² When the loans crash, George Bush and Company² bail them out with more deficit financing. To see the inflation scam, all it takes is a brief look at the evidence. The supply/demand/price relationship² is not rocket science. It's basic "Economics 101."

Instead of exposing the truth about deficit financing, politicians and the members of the media shirk their responsibility out of fear of losing their jobs. They give us canned propaganda provided by Bush and Company and tell it to us as if it were news. They dutifully ignore the causes and focus on stories about the symptoms and how to treat the symptoms. Like lemmings to the cliff, like sheep at the door of the slaughter house, they quietly ride the cosmic version of the Titanic as it approaches the iceberg of environmental destruction and Global Climate Change.² They even sell their own children and grandchildren into grief, misery, and needless death. They look the other way while the economic disaster of unbridled government deficit spending steals the value out of the money and causes absurd increases in the prices of basic goods and services. Edward R. Murrow, where are you?

Media, where is your spine? Senators, Congressmen, Governors, Mayors, where are your spines? Quit sitting on your thumbs. Stop lying by omitting the truth.² Your jobs are already lost. You just don't see that everybody else's job is also lost. Or you won't admit it. Your children and grandchildren, if they survive this fiasco, are going to hate you or think you to be incredible fools.

This cause the prices of goods and services to rise. As a result, many people can't earn enough money pay all their bills. Just to survive, financially desperate people borrow money using their credit cards and/or loans against their homes. The banks (credit card companies) lend borrowers more none-existent money. The bank lending process is called Fractional Reserve Lending.² This, like inflation, also fraudulently expands the money supply and accelerates the loss in value of our money. The cycle of death and destruction then repeats itself at a new and more aggressive level. If not stopped, this cycle will produce another great depression. And with Global Climate Change² threatening the lives of billions of humans, both the depression and the climate change will be devastating, deadly and irreversible.

Everybody talks about how to treat the symptom -- lack of buying power. And nobody is talking about the "first cause" -- government deficit financing. If there ever was a story in need of telling, this is it! You have a choice to make -- Speak up and risk losing your job, or sit silent and risk losing your life and the lives of your children and grandchildren.

Money Ain't What It Used To Be

Debt is, in essence, spending future goods and services before you produce them. It's " have now / pay later" thinking. In reality, one cannot use goods or services (money) that don't exist. When one creates a debt, he or she actually uses someone else's goods and services. The use of someone else's property is commonly done by the consent within a lending/borrower agreement.

However there is a way to steal someone else's property using a fraudulent lending agreement. In this technique, the assets are taken without the consent of the lender. It's called government deficit financing.

When the government deficit finances things such the Iraq war, what it's actually doing is taking goods and service (money) out of the existing economy and squandering those assets on the production of murder, and destruction. Deficit spending secretly steals the value out of the dollars in the existing monetary system.

This is why the price of gas and groceries has skyrocketed under the fiscal irresponsibility of George Bush and company. A portion of the value in the dollar in your pocket goes into the empty, make-believe dollar that Bush and company spent buying tools of death and destruction. It's that simple and straight forward. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either misinformed or is lying to you.

You may recall the presently ignored warning of former President Dwight Eisenhower:
